Beaver’s Pond Press Working with Authors to Publish E-Books
One of few publishers working with e-books, Beaver’s Pond Press is offering authors e-book conversion and distribution to e-reader devices. More than twenty-five percent of Beaver’s Pond’s new releases will be available as an e-book in 2011 with plans to also expand to children’s books.

Beaver’s Pond Press Author, Jeff Appelquist Wins First Place in Prestigious 2010 Self-Published Book Award Contest.
Writer’s Digest magazine is devoted to helping writers develop their craft and hone their publishing acumen. This year they recognize Minnesota author Jeff Appelquist as a rising star. Appelguist’s non-fiction work, Sacred Ground: Leadership Lessons from Gettysburg & the Little Bighorn, takes the reader on a gritty, unforgettable journey into America’s most historic battles. Appelquist’s goal is to convey lessons from the conflicts and apply them to business and life. He also won the 2009 Indie Excellence Award for best military history award.

Twin Cities Publisher Beaver’s Pond Press Announces New Leadership.
Beaver’s Pond Press thanks Susan Adams Loyd for her many contributions to the company as she leaves to join Clear Channel Outdoor Minneapolis/St. Paul as its new Branch President effective November 9, 2010. During her tenure, Loyd provided strong guidance as Beaver’s Pond Press transitioned its ownership and leadership to Chief Publishing Executive, Tom Kerber, and the excellent staff of editors and professionals that have joined the company in the last three years.
